One of my most prized possessions is my glorious glitter ball. I take my glitter ball with me everywhere, since it was given to me it has never once been left at home, or out of my sight. It goes throughout my busy day with me and I've become so attached to it! Once on a shopping trip I thought I dropped it, and proceeded to order an amber alert , making every employee in the store help me to look for it. Turns out it was in one of the pockets of my bag. Oops!
Tau Ili stole my ball. I let him play with it one day as I talked with him, and he became very taken with it. I couldn't blame him, it is an amazing bouncy ball! But, he refused to hand it back. When I asked, he continued to refuse. I didn't know what to do! As you may have suspected from the foreign name, Tau is a friend of mine with a Samoan heritage. In short- he's huge. There is no way I could force him to give it back to me.

This went on for weeks: me without my glitter ball and he simply having fun seeing me so chapped. I tend to put my hands on my hips and stomp my foot when I'm mad. I really need to stop that! It just makes people laugh.
Today, Tau went to the bathroom during our Senior Comp class. This was my chance! I dashed over to his backpack and there, sitting neatly atop a few #2 pencils and a pack of gum, was my glitter ball. My only thought of victory: "Come to Mama!!"
