Millie Mae - 1 1/2 Photoshoot!

I love my Millie Girl. She is a big bad toddler now!! 

She doesn't mind photoshoots with mommy which is good news for me! 
Millie loves to say hi to everyone at the store, she loves to wave to the cows on the Yellow Farm, she loves to eat oreos, color with markers {no crayons please, mom}, and read her lift-the-flap books. She has the sweetest heart, the bluest eyes and the biggest personality.

 ^^ millie girl loves cows. LOVES them. sometimes she can see them from her bedroom and she'll run run run to grab her footstool, plop it down in front of the window and will stay there for a full twenty minutes waving and smiling and saying, "hi cows! hi! COWS! HI COWS!!" ^^

 ^^ The Yellow Farm is a pretty great adventure spot for growing little girls!^^

 ^^ i love when she walks around like this. it's like she's deep in thought about the next mess she's going to make or the next strange thing she's going to try to eat.^^

little sister will be here in just two months! a good thing too because this mama is already SO DONE with being pregnant it's getting nuts! straight up nuts!

Three month Millie

Our little mills is three months old already! HOW IS THIS EVEN HAPPENING?? it feels like we've had her forever and like we just brought her home yesterday all at the same time. One word that can describe three month Millie is: plump. From her cheeks to her little thighs this girl is all rolls and chubbs and I LOVE IT! Millie Mae still has her red hair from birth, and her eyes are turning the prettiest tint of blue. She is a very good sleeper and usually only wakes up once during the night to eat. This girl loves to stand! If she could stand all day long she would. She never seems to be able to open her eyes wide enough to see everything that is happening around her and I get lots of "WOW MOM WHAT IS THAT!"  looks from her everyday. She makes two faces: her " amazed" face and her "nigga please" face. (Sorry but I really don't know how else to describe it). I think it's safe to say mills will have a supply of sass all her own in due time. I can appreciate a bit of sass. Sweet & spicy. It's how I like my wings AND my daughters.
Millie Mae's talents include drooling, bubble blowing and cooing, especially in the mornings and especially when daddy is around. I have noticed that mills is much more talkative when boys are around, I think we may have a little flirt on our hands! Mills loves to hold on to fingers and she loves to be held by anyone and everyone. She is still the easiest baby I could ever ask for and has made this first-time-mama business a total joy. I am doing my best to cherish every moment of her baby-ness while it is here and let me tell you: I kiss that girl more often than anything I have ever kissed in my life. Even Travis. And that's saying something!!!

one month millie

our millie mae is a month old today!
you guys, i've kept this tiny human/angel baby alive for an entire month now. it is the best job in the world & i can't wait for all of the months and years to come. this month, millie:

• weighs 8 pounds 4 ounces
• CAN ROLL OVER! she's been rolling over since thirteen days. this girl is as strong as an ox.
• has the sweetest little rolls that i have a hard time resisting. what is it about babies that makes you want to gobble them up?
• has a break out of baby acne all over her sweet face, i fear for her adolescence. let's hope she didn't get her mama's genes in that department!
• is still in newborn clothes & diapers
• loves to be held
• loves her pink binkie and no other binkie
• likes to meet new people {and when i say "like" i mean she doesn't fuss at them}
• makes the funniest faces that i can laugh at all day

millie at one week

here is what was happening with millie when she was a week old. in the future i hope to be better at posting these on time! {smile}

+ 7 pounds 6 ounces

+ has a clogged tear duct in her left eye. poor dear can barely open her eye.
+still has her red hair & dark blue eyes from birth, we hope she keeps them!

+ loves to be held and cuddled

+loves to be sung to, especially songs from her movie! 

+ loves soft things and only soft things. she will literally cry every time we put her down on something not cushioned or fluffy.
+ hiccups after every feeding
+ is overall a very chill and sweet baby

we are lucky to have her!
