a letter to mills

to my little mills,

today you are six months old! you are so big & wobbly and rollie-pollie. i love this stage of your life, i love every stage of your life! i love to watch you roll around on the living room floor-- your reaching fingers that just can't quite grasp that toy in front of you... melts my heart every time. your little chubby arms & fingers, your little piggie toes. your bending knees that are getting so very close to crawling every day. i love those two little teeth that fought so hard to poke through & i love your newest favorite activity: the pterodactyl screech. i love the silly things you laugh at & the crazy faces you make. i love how sweet & intrigued you are by the world around you. you are an absolute dream, baby.
