nature walk

i took a walk to campus this week. it was warm & sunny & felt just like an arizona summer. there were definitely pit stains on my shirt by the time my walk was done. {yeah... let's keep that between us.}

i love seeing brightly colored trees! white, pink, purple and bright green...

i think i'll make it a goal to have only brightly colored trees in our front yard when t & i grow up!

and the award for the most exciting front yard goes to... {smile}peace & love

just a dream

t & i have always dreamed of owning a hot air balloon.
a little oasis in the clouds, just for him & me.
there's something so romantic about a dream.
all of its magic lies in the hope of getting there
& then in the happiness of making it happen.

someday when we're all grown up,
t & i are soooooo getting ourselves a hot air balloon.
& you can each have a ride. yay!

I'm excited for the day when I can be a little wifey. I want to make eggs and pancakes for breakfast, I want to get the newspaper every morning before my husband gets up. I'll have the sports section ready for him! I can't wait for a house of my own that I can decorate, to turn the music up so loud the neighbor's will want to call the police when I clean. I want to have my own little cookbook that I just use all the time, I want to take care of my baby's boo-boos and sing to him when he cries. To make a truck load of family traditions, to help make their childhood wonderful. I want to wear aprons!! I want to take care of my own little loved ones =)
