my name is lauren, and i like to party. you wouldn't know it though, i am so white-- i could pass as a hermit! minus the beard. white skin is a bit of a commodity for me. being an arizona girl, i never had to try too hard to catch some rays. luckily, i start my new job as a head lifeguard slash swim instructor this week!soon i'll be hot & spicy tan like usual,& i'll smell like chlorine 24/7 {think travis will like that?}

Summer ♥

A Summary of Summer

What time is it? Summertime!! I heart summer, especially Arizona summers! They truly are the best in the West, the only summers that truly require a swimming pool and a freezer packed with otter pops.

My favorite thing about summer... I get asked on so many dates! I'm not sure what it is about summer, but everyone feels more date-y, i guess. I went on three dates this weekend- crazy, right!?
The Hippie Date! Alec & I spent absolutely NO money.. we were total hippies. Peace Love & Music baby!
These would be our PB&J's. Alec slipped a Hershey's in mine, because he remembered I'm obsessed with chocolate. Sweet guy!

Ned's Crazy Sub's! The most scrumptious sub's place around.. Has Ned fed you? (That's their slogan.. i wanted to buy a T shirt!)
This is me And Aly dearest, on top of a MOUNTAIN! Night Hikes are the most fun.

And i don't have any pictures from my last date of the weekend.. but each of the boys made something for our dinner! My date was in charge of making the bread sticks.. and he failed miserably. BUT, i joked that he was still my handsome breadwinner, that made him feel better i think! We definitely had a party, it was for sure a fun group!

Stranded

I crunched my car in January, and my phone broke this week. (I sweated on it... DON'T put your phone in your bra when you go running!) Anyway, Saturday night I decided to play with a friend of mine who also was without a car or a phone. We figured we could just use the public transportation system, but that didn't exactly work out. We were STRANDED in downtown Mesa!

Pay phone- trying to call for a ride. We got one eventually, but not before we had a fabulous time being stranded with really no where to go! We hit up Dairy Queen for crunch cones, the Mesa temple, and finally the Arts Center. I love this kid, Jordan is the most unique person! He's the kind who knows what his talents are, and uses them to their fullest extent. If only we could all be like that! He took his shirt off because he was sweaty I guess..
