hello day one! you may have noticed that the quality of my photos are now infinitely better: travis found a killer deal on a dslr at a garage sale this weekend. happy early birthday to me!! best husband ever.-----------on a completely different note, i've been a baking fool lately.on sunday i made strawberry cupcakes with chocolate frosting, topped with a slice of strawberry.i called them chocolate covered strawberry cupcakes.creative, no?

and there was! looooots of glorious sunlight!i knew the burg had some good in it.t & i are both very happily sun-burnt today {smile}
so a little about this outfit: today i woke up 15 minutes for class. i happens.i did that look-at-the-clock jump-out-of-bed dance-around-looking-confused thing as i tried to quickly decide what to do. i could make it if i didn't shower & did make-up in the car (i know it's dangerous, don't hate!) the clothes were the closest in the closet so that was easy, the only question was my hair.it looked like i had rolled around in glue all night... there was no taming it.the only answer was a gigantic, convenient hair bow. so fabulous. so distracting.
anyway loves, sorry about that blogger disaster of 2011.let's pray it never happens again.

i stumbled upon beauty.

& i thought i'd share the beauty because, well, everyone is beautiful. in their own little way.
even me at 4am this morning, boarding our little ice-covered plane back to boise town. shudder. morning hair is the best kind of hair, no? especially when you know you could have washed it, but you didn't, because cuddling with the husband was more important than shampooing my head. again.
it was worth it.
anyway. enough about my hair, more about the beauty.

i stumbled upon a quaint little etsy shop named ande monster today. ande monster is filled with sweet things like vintage pumps, blouses, and various vintage apparel. to my delight, i found a $20 dress sale in the works.

cha. almost all of those pretty pretty dresses. only twenty bones.

i just bought a floral nancy reagan, but i forgot to snatch a photo before i clicked the "purchase" button. curses. but i pinky promise to post a photo when it comes in the mail.

sometimes i forget to smile in photos.

today while i had a break between classes,

trav picked me up for a date & we went to get gas.

{romantic, eh?}

usually how gas-getting goes in our relationship:

trav takes care of everything,

and i sit atop the car telling him all the wonderful things about my day.

but not today. today it was cold.

so instead i dove into the drivers seat at the first sign of wind,

and entertained myself by eating sunflower seeds & making faces at him via the window while he shivered.

i was mean.

 but it was oh so fun.

a few days ago i clicked a linky & commited myself to kendi everyday's 30 for 30 remix.

my thought was, "sweet! power to the women!"

but, then i got lazy.

& realized all my clothes are in box-mode.

& i became one of the peeps that doesn't follow through with what she clicks on.

shame on me.

but! i still thought this was more fun than making banana bread.

so i'm half-participating.
for 30 days i'll be posting what i wear for the whole world to see,
it'll be fun to come up with cuteness for that long.

the other day t & i waited ever so patiently in line at the Social Security Department.
number after number after not our number was called,
until we finally got to sit with the indian man behind the big desk.
yessir, after three months of marriage i finally gots myself a married name.

last week after leaving albertons,

i made a wrong turn on my way home.

{there's so many dangflabbit one-way streets around here}

i got a little lost. but what i found was a cabillion (word? probably not!) times better.

i found fall.

say it with me. "oh oh pretttty!"

little arizona girls like me think we know what fall is, but we don't.

fall is when you eat too much candy & a month later, you eat too much everything else.

fall may also have included ditching the shorts for pants, but never the flip-flops. the flip-flops stayed.

but oh-ho-ho was i wrong: fall is beauty, everywhere.

oh. my. goodness. dare i say it, but i'm starting to fall in love with ye olde boise.

& yes, i did dress up to go grocery shopping. sue me. {giggles}

bee tea dubs, last night trav made us an exquistitely gourmet salmon dinner under candle-light.
it was fetching awesome!
sometimes it really cheezes me off that he's a better cook than i.
but not last night. holy hannahs.
