this is my guy.
my hubsy-wubs.

i love him. he is so passionate, about so many things. one at a time, but one right after the other.
he loves fly fishing. if he could ask for anything, from anywhere,
it found be from sportsman's warehouse & it would be about fishing.
he has big muscles & he bugs me. and i bug him. we bug each other.
there are so many things about a husband.
he's the only person that can make a wife so happy, and so mad at the same time.
we're coming up on three years this august.
three. years.
that's a long time.
where did all of that time go?
we have seen so much together.
we still have so much to see together.

today, after mills went to bed it was still light outside. we fed the horses some carrots & he fireman carried me to the trampoline, where i showed him my moves. {i have no moves. i jumped around making strange noises & told him i was a walrus. those are my moves.}
then, we came inside and he flipped on the tv & i got to blogging.
husband & wife stuff, you know?

reason # 5074 why i love my husband

so, i'm an interior design major right? so naturally i would rather be shopping for home decor than clothing 100% of the time. i actually stay awake nights thinking of how i'd like to do up our home. my doodles consist of floor plans and furniture layouts. most of my pinterest boards are dedicated to various rooms of the house.
what with the interior design blood in me, and this nesting kick i've been on... it's getting a bit intense.
of course, most of this dreaming is just dreaming. i would feel guilty spending money towards furniture and things, we are students with a baby on the way after all! and a girl can only DIY so many things. 
i am perfectly content with waiting for all of my design dreams to come true, it will be much more fun to see it all come together over the years. this is where my interior fund comes in. i have been saving up extra cash here & there for a while, with the intent to spend it on the few items i plan to splurge on for our place. needless to say, it was taking a long time coming.
today, travis surprised me by making a substantial donation to my interior fund. he tucked a large wad of cash into my purse and let me run around frantic for a few minutes while i thought through all of the people this cash could possibly belong to, because it certainly couldn't be mine.
he laughed & gave me a smile to let me know that it was a gift from him, and it could not have been more thoughtful. i am so grateful for that man of mine!

the telly

i didn't go into much detail in this post about the new television,
i'll do that now {smile}.

heck yes we are keeping it! it's huge! ha & trav has wanted one for so very long, he's been very patient. i just thought it was so funny how he got it while i was gone for the day... little sneak.
the only qualm i have with the telly:
i have been picking up extra cash for a while to save up money for trav's birthday at the end of May, i was planning on getting him a TV. but the kid went and bought one without me! he got it for several hundred dollars off so it was definitely worth it, but it was a birthday surprise ruined! though i'm very terrible when it comes to birthdays, so maybe i had it coming.
we had a movie marathon yesterday in an attempt to break in our new toy; we almost know how to use the remote!
and it's name is Viz.

today i came home to find a little um... surprise from travis.

first, he left me a note on the front door.

to lull me into a sense of security, i think.

"hey lauren, I just want you to know you're the best ever. I love you so much. -Travis"
cute right? he's good...

that's when i walked in the door to this:

"um it's a 47 inch. can i keep it?"

it is officially nappy nap time in the t&l home.

 travis turned into a pink blob today.

i hope he changes back soon, i thought he was much more handsome before.

plus, i'm making meatballs for dinner & i'm not quite sure his new pink self has a mouth.

i suppose i'll just say a prayer & hope for the best!
